Are they giving you the option of a reeducation course? few hours of boredom and a bit extra money but worth it to keep points off your license (and insurance). It doesn't work that way over here (Netherlands). I just have to pay and that's it. They introduced the license with points a couple of years back, but I got a regular one. So, I can do whatever I want actually.

Yesterday we had daughter no. 2's 6th birthday party at a local soft play center, we'd invited around 50 kids, didn't expect nearly all of them to turn up. Fortunately we'd hired the entire hall so there were no number restrictions. Maree spent the whole of the day making a mega cake in the shape of a castle, it just grew and grew, took 30 eggs and weighed about 20kg. Will post pics when I get hold of them. Two of the eight towers fell off in the car.
Despite not having the party at home there seems to be a lot of clearing up to do today. It is also our 7th wedding anniversary (or so I'm told) I bought Maree a book on how to make rude cakes.

we'd invited around 50 kids Man, I have a problem with just 8 if it comes to birthday party's. Well, maybe it's just my lack of authority.

Back from hospital. Spinal disc herniation (I tried to lift too heavy bag). I can't move... Get well soon. Today I totally failed to figure out how to get a PSU out of a HP RP5000. The PC that was sent out gave out a bright spark, a loud bang, frazzled my fingers & generally scared the pants off me. So after a nice cleansing breath, I had a chat with tech support who reckoned that swapping over the PSU would be a simple solution. After about 45 minuets I got to the point where I just couldn't be bothered to strip the entire thing to bits just to get the PSU out. So I restored the original PC. That's when I found that the BIOS battery wasn't seated properly. So that would explain why the PC is loosing time on every reboot. So stick in a fresh battery just to be on the safe side. Change the settings to what it states in the document. Set the date & time. Check the boot up. Thankfully the power spike didn't frazzle the memory of the hard drive. YAY! So Shut down. Pull the power cable. Give it 30 seconds, plug it back in and rejoice! For all is good & groovy. Manager was hoping for a new computer. There there The next job was a doddle by comparison. The not working cash draw was working just fine. Oh, it's intermittent? Oh, only with one member of staff that isn't in today? Right. Well here's a couple of squirts of WD40. Thank you for calling - BYE!!!! So with that job done, this left me enough time to do yet another boot sock audit But you've always got to look on the bright side. For me it's the realization that i am no longer on standby. Happy days

Well that's what I mean, if it's brand new and idling too hot should I be trying to do something about it? I've got a massive cooler and no overclock...
