Just sold my Mazda for £550 (bought it for £400, spent about £300 on it)
HOW DO I GET TO WORK TOMORROW?

Nice one Lully :3 One thing I've learnt from work is that I don't mind kids too much, some are annoying, some are cute and sometimes funny. But most parents need a punch in the face (no offence to all the parents here, I'm sure you're all lovely ) Also, today is the first of my 2 days off, so happy

don't they have a giant statue of Mode there now? Construction is ongoing. I've just finished third day of production week for a show I'm Tech Director and Deputy Stage Manager for. Dress rehearsal done, first performance tomorrow. Radio mics have been an absolute pain. I spent about two hours painting an 8'x4' Facebook logo to fly for one of the songs, which looks awesome. Rigging that tomorrow morning.

One of my hard drives died on me last night (pretty sure its dead, its the one thats corrupted both my raid arrays AND a relativly new Windows install ) so I'm taking this oportunity to de-dust my case, sort out the rats nest at the bottom of it and maybe reverse my hard drives (if I can steal the old mans Dremmel) so I might not be in game for the rest of the week. Probably longer knowing my track record with this kind of thing...

Best of luck fella Time off. YAY! And not a moment too soon. So one or two domestic chores to do. I've just about finished swapping over the files for work from the laptop to the PC. Then I've got a couple of lofts to crawl around in. And then there's some shopping to be done. After all that I might be able to do something unimportant, but fun

Im in hell had a new boiler fitted mon/tues it has to run hot for 7 days to fully activate / use up the scale/rust inhibitor so slowly get baked alive every night. On top of that im having anew kitchen fitted after the last one flooded and exploded all the chipboard we are now down to the hob and sink both of which dissapear today and the new kitchen wont be fitted until the 22nd. (floor and wall tiling next week) Takeaways for 5 people for 2 weeks dont come cheap

I have a torch (old school light bulb jobbie) that needs AAA batteries to run. I have checked around and have nothing else in the house runs AAA batteries so I can't nick any from something else so will have to buy some. Last time I bought 4 batteries it cost me about £5 and I lost 3 of them. By this logic is it stupid to by a new LED torch for £10 that comes with batteries?

Not if it's one that runs on AA. (Or whatever else you can easily nick from something else.)
