Anyone buying this tomorrow? I just tried to blag the guy in Game to sell me it a day early but FAILED! If my T2 playtime drops, you know where I'm at lol PS. I advise people to get it on PS3 rather than XBOX360 (if you have that option  ), as its full 1080p on PS3 only!  |

I can't really say why, but I have no interest in this game whatsoever. Being an avid FF fan I'll no doubt end up getting/playing/enjoying it at some point, but not for a looooooooong time.

Cosy here, I'll hang out here as well, as I don't have money to buy BF:BC2 yet. I just read about it being vastly different compared to the latest installments, didn't hear one bit of info about it tbh. What is it? RTS? FPS? KGB?

Standard JRPG shit; lots of long, pointless, overdirected cut scenes, young boys that look like girls with big swords and summonable creatures that ride motor cycles.
I've also heard they took a lot of the exploration out which was one of my favourite parts of previous games.

a lot of reviews were comparing it to sophie houldens linear rpg (I stalk her on facebook). Where basically you adventure along nodes connected by paths and it kinda meanders around but essentially each node has 1 entry and 1 exit aka entirely linear no other possible direction to go in or anything else to do

I pre-ordered it. Looking forward to the more linear approach tbh. Kinda got burnt out on all the multiple path, player driven story games that have come out recently. Nothing wrong with a more linear rpg with the emphasis on character development rather than exploration.
Although I have seen some videos of the cutscenes recently, and some of the english voice-acting sounds really bad.

I have seen that scene in X though so I know what you're referring to, you have to cut them a bit of slack though since it was the first one that had voice-acting in it. |
