damn down time is cycling too though. was 1pm - 6pm yesterday appears to be 7am - ?? now today we'll have to see when the wrenches resume later
Its the timezone fix to try to stop people in one timezone from being online and crafting constantly gaining all wrenches. i.e. its sort of tells them to go to bed and let another country have a go |

Yes, well it lines up with the lowest point in steam activity but shifting it around would help slightly in removing any bias against whichever timezones evening lines up with the low point of steam users. its not possible for one timezone to get all the wrenches though as its roughly 1 per hour at roughly 25 per 24 hours. Although one timezone could be effectively blocked by persistently being in the dead zone. There must be an underlying explanation though, either blog preparation time or just turning if off at the low point when its easiest for you to get a wrench.

Completely forgot to post the details in case Valve changes something  THE WRANGLER Replaces Pistol - Engineers can use the Wrangler to take control and aim their sentry gun
- An Engineer-controlled sentry won't select targets by itself
- The Wrangler creates a shield that absorbs 66% of all incoming damage
- Gives a double fire rate. Also increases missile launch rate at level 3
- The sentry is defenseless (inactive) for three seconds after the Engineer switches away from the Wrangler

No I just plotted without that data. We see basically a logartihm with a massively suspicious peak at 45 mins, I'd expect more to drop at short gaps and at 45 mins.  Will update with new data later but either you craft in the first 10 mins after a wrench or for best results wait 45 mins |

Down time today was 8am-1pm Yesterday was 1pm-6pm so its a 5 hour period, so current prediction your best shot is still tommorow morning 45 mins after a wrench. |
