i think i may have to get this tomorrow, Ill take a few ps3 games in to soften the blow. Ive never played startcraft 1.
The hype as got me, DAMN you hype.
I have to make a trip to town anyway to get some wrapping paper and a card for the missus's bday on sunday. ill just hide the game shaped bundle. Wish i could buy it for 35 online rather than the 45 from blizzard directly. the hassle of plugging in a dvd drive does my head in.

Hey guys, any of you got starcraft 2? Wondering if anyone is up for a game. I am finding online very hard but so rewarding when you pull it off due to the sheer effort required to keep control of everything

haha the single player version eh zarf? @Cruelcow: Name requirements I'm afraid. You choose a name and a random 3 digit code gets assigned to you. Means adding people is a pain, means you can't tell an imposter from the real deal and is generally stupid. You know you still want to get it... give innnnn

Yeah but if you know someone good you can add him via email address. It then shows his real ID (name) and what exactly hes doing (what matchtype and stuff), it also shows if hes playing WoW l0l

So i come here to mention a quite a lol game. it was the first time someone cheesed me. For those who don't know a cheese is when someone does a tactic which is so specialized that if it does not pull off early your out. It's playing the game in an unusual way, generally sacrificing econ for a surprise attack.
Right to the game: I played as the terran, he was protoss. He sent in a builder unit in straight away which got in undetected into my base which he proceded to build the tech required for turrets. he then started building those turrets towards my base and works.
You see this can work but the problem is the terran can just lift up and fly most of their buildings away leaving the prottos played with a load of turrets and nothing to shoot.
While that was all going on i was in his base with a fast moving unit which can jump up hills, a reaper. i was in his base destroying his econ. of course he quit but i just can not believe what some people will do to win. This guy clearly did not understand the game or seemed to care he was just going for wins.
Lame very lame
below is an attached replay (for those who have starcraft 2) to lol at.
If any of you encounted cheese players and defeat them post a replay to show their crazy ideas

Dunno about casual games, but in commented games I really, really like cheese, mixes it up a bit About the strategy, is it really that futile against terran? If he blocks of the ramp (if it exists), you'd have to fly off the harvesters with the command center in groups of five, and your econ would have taken a huge hit obviously. (All assuming the reaper wouldn't have gotten into his base. Why didn't he throw down two turrets in his base? Can a reaper damage buildings faster than they warp in?)
