*sigh*... the following comments will show my age...
On the plus side, the recent Iranian troubles were visible to the world via Facebook / Twitter etc... so as an idea it can't be all bad.
I suppose I just despise it for the way the western world uses it.... to amass pointless contacts and to post information in tedious amounts of detail that bores 90% of the people that read it.
