Is there a way to disable the beep that happens every second during votes?
A sound file I can replace or an .ini that I can set?
I find it kinda annoying beeping for a minute.

When we switched from Beetlesmod to Sourcemod - one thing that was complained about and people were asking for was for it to show the live results of the vote (i.e. how many people voted for what etc.).
The latest release version of sourcemod has added this functionality into its voting systems so we put it in as many people asked/moaned about it being missing.
TLDR: BOG OFF.
(i'll have a look and see if there's a way to disable it in sourcemod - I will report back with my findings)

The results are alright, it's just this sound that gets annoying very fast and goes on for too long. Surely you can deactivate the sound somewhere. Thanks!

Yeah...I know. But to be honest...I've only ever noticed it once or twice.
I can understand how it would get annoying - which is why I am looking into it for you.
You can probably find the sound in your client tf2 files and disable it - by all means go ahead and do that.
In the meantime I'm looking to find a server-side solution (that doesn't just switch off the vote progress...that's too easy and taking a step backward) but if I don't find one I'll turn off the vote progress.

Well no, I'd say cater to the majority here. It really annoys me, but I wouldn't want to take away something, that many people wanted to have. I'll deal with it on my own end. |

It's not really a beep. When voting starts it shows the current results and how much time is left for voting. And it counts down every second and every seconds there is that sound. tbh. only annoying when it's quiet otherwise, you probably won't notice it if there is talking or exploding going on.

That is just because you all have an ear damage from too loud music/too loud games  I get really angry when that sound comes again.. soooo annoying and not possible to ignore it  Maybe it is good that I can't play at the moment |
