And I'm not dead yet. Though I already started with drinking blood and looking pale. EDIT: Claws, she probably would, because we're engaged.

+1 ... for covert trolling at least That's a good start, but how do I run up a tree?
I'd suggest you start with a very small one first.....

Bump for glory! House of Leaves; I'm only about half way through but its already one of the best books I've ever read. Fucking hard work though, lots of rat holes and stream of consciousness wierdness. And then theres the bit where everything goes backwards...

Can't remember if I mentioned this before, but I just finished Patrick Rothfuss' The Name of the Wind and if you've ever read a fantasy novel and enjoyed it, I can't recommend it strongly enough. I particularly like that in the middle of a discussion of the mechanics of the magic of the world he still takes time to make sure the laws of thermodynamics remain intact, but maybe that's just the physicist in me.

Started readin The Bourne Identity and found it horrible, stopped halfway through. I guess when they made the movie they only left the action sequences in it and forget to mention that there are horribly long meaningless dialogue and trains of thoughts leading nowhere in the actual book. Only started reading it, because I hoped that the book is better than the movie, like it usually is. Meh.

I liked the Bourne Identity book. Did you read the original version or the film adapted one? Because the film is only loosely based on the original book.

Well it's nothing like the film so I guess it's the original one. I just get stuck every time there is 10 pages long full of Bourne "talking" to someone or thinking about his memory loss. Look, you have amnesia, I got it already. Stop telling me how shocked you are about what you are learning about your past every single time you hear a word that rings a bell. It just gets repetitive to annoying and the story is just going nowhere for 20-30 pages sometimes.

Hmmm… Last thing I read was Nineteen Eighty-Four, brilliant book. Kinda fell out with reading again when I couldn't decide what to read next!
