I just double checked. I think you get a day cancellation period if you agree to waive the normal 7 days. Theyve not provided enough information to immediately commence service without cancellation I think and service start is still first download.
Ofc if the EU ruling that stuff sold on steam was in fact goods stand then its totally different and you always have 7 days to return. I doubt that would get upheld though as I admit returning stuff you downloaded is unfair and the courts would agree with that.
Still pretty sure the 1 day cancellation is being swept under the rug again. If it wasn't all lies they'd stop offering refunds via support when someone tells them to sod off (I got two just this one time refunds already). And if the refunds were really gestures of goodwill (and not out of court settlements) theyd stop lying that they arent available and advertise the availability with appropriate conditions to prevent abuse.

Recommend Scribblenauts and Call of Juarez (I NEED SOMEONE TO COMPETE AGAINST IN ARCADE).
Scribblenauts is fantastic just to dip in and out of when you feel imaginative, and Call of Juarez is like Bulletstorm but in the Wild West with a great unreliable narrator mechanic.
I got Juarez, what is this arcade mode I will beat you in?

Arcade mode on the main menu, basically about stringing your combo out as long as possible without missing too many bonus points (headshots, etc). Has a Trials 2 feel to it after a certain point, generally gotta get a single smooth combo for three stars.

Blands 2 season pass is 10€ for the next 3 hours but I assume its gonna show up on a daily deal aswell at some point. Looks like quite the deal, one of my friends played through the DLCs and really liked them.

Me and deadly have played the dlcs, they are pretty good but the external company gearbox uses for dlc just rehashed general knoxx for mr trogues, and dr zeds for hammerlocks (they werent involved in tiny tinas, not sure about captain scarlets). Mr torgues campaign is still worth it just for mr torgue hes a great character but hammerlocks hunt is a bit meh, its full of bugs and they didn't finish the moxxi bar in it (the undercarriage) and just generally left the dlc incomplete. Captain Scarlets is pretty great though. Tiny Tinas is by far the best, just lol. Me and deadly have not been able to do any of the raid bosses so far so hit us up if anyone gets the season pass.

Yup, Borderlands 2 is a very 'fun' game - doesn't take itself too seriously even if it falls down in some areas (weird difficulty curve at times and most the enemies are the same but slightly different in the DLC so gunfights tend to not be *that* interesting). Absolutely worth playing for the humour alone.

It's times like these that a Steam app would be useful for my phone. I'm assuming you can keep track of the sales using it

the steam app is shit and doesnt really notify you properly.
Just set a 6pm reminder if you really feel you will forget.

the android app doesnt do those, works pretty well at the things it does do. It just doesn't notify you about sale stuff half the time, not really reliable. And it doesn't have any of the new steam client features. Doesn't do anything except let you view the store and message people, and fail to send sale notifications. Really surprised they still haven't released a steam service for android, I guess maybe they are still in development? Iphone already has game centre or whatever it is, but theres no truely universal equivalent for android.

Game Center is more like an achievement hub that nobody uses ever because most games dont even support it. re Steam app: Ive tried everything to not make it sign off from chat when I go into standby or tab out of the app but no success, it also takes fooooreeeever to load a chatwindow in that, might be a sideeffect from having a big friendslist?

Just Cause 2: definitely worth the price if you like open world chaos Walking Dead: Buy it! For Clementine. (That means you lefti!) FTL: Pretty divisive, I like it
I'm tempted by that XCOM flash sale...
