Well for the price it's no big harm done I guess, but I found the game got boring really really fast (about 4-5 hours in).

I love the idea of evil genius but the second level is terrible, the super agents fuck your base up so badly you don't have any minions left to gather money and you die a slow crippling death because everything is on fire and only the damn valets can use the extinguishers. I wish there were more mods for that game though, its one of those old games that if modded or remade could be excellent.

Well, maybe I'm viewing it through rose tinted specs, but I still reckon £1.75 is worth it!
I admit I had much for fun on my second playthrough. The Super Agents are little hassle when you've learnt how to deal with them, but on the second run when you have a better idea how to build your base and prioritise getting rid of the Super Agents as soon as possible it's not so bad. Also when you've realised that hotels are utterly pointless.

It's a gentle learning curve, but one that climbs so high you'll run out of oxygen if you don't come prepared. I enjoyed it the first time even though I ultimately didn't finish it, and on my second playthrough I dominated it to the point of building a hotel JUST BECAUSE I COULD. Also infinite super mutant powered traps that held attackers stranded indefinitely, meaning no others could spawn. That last one was cheating a bit.

Orcs Must Die is the best Action Tower Defense game. What it lacks in co-op (it doesn't have one) it makes up for in sheer fun.
