Finally got around to getting through the two Transformers games I got in the christmas sale (fiver for the first one, 25 for the sequel from last year) this week.

First one "War for Cybertron" is forgettable and boring and is probably one of the worst PC ports Ive seen since Ghost Recon (locked at 25 fps ughhh), I still played through it because the storylines are connected (turns out I couldve just skipped that and watched the last 10 seconds on youtube) but the second one kicks ass. I was never into Transformers so it was more a blind purchase but the second game "Fall of Cybertron" was really good, cool action and some impressive sounddesign. Not fullprice worthy but Id recommend it if it comes up in a sale again.

Yeap, and it should be noted that Square Enix, Bohemia Interactive, Capcom and Interplay titles are only on sale this first week. Either way, what they're showing today is the complete list of upcoming daily deals as well as a couple of old ones so, if you want one of those titles, today is probably the best day to get them.

Argh - constructor was an amazing game - I remember specifically having to upgrade my PC to be able to install/play it (back in those days where a new game almost certainly forced a PC upgrade) but sunk a lot of hours into it.

I think it has multiplayer if you fancy a game sometime?

Edit: I also bought Caeser 3 for some more strategy nostalgia!

You do things like send rave parties onto opponents properties to lower property prices and satisfaction rates down or something.

I also played constructor and thought it was great. But I played it again a few years ago. Its pretty simplistic and the interface is terrible. Some things are best left to nostalgia. Ceasar 3 on the other hand is still pretty good, was a later game and the interface was alright though.
