So have you all bought copies? Deadline is tommorow and as of thursday RAGE was slightly ahead. I bought mine from play.com for 60p but copies from amazon.co.uk do count and its available there for 29p. Its probably going to finish up a number 2 but for 29p you can be satisfied that you made simon cowell cry a little and maybe just maybe he will start wondering why do they all hate me? Also you can enjoy the delicious delicious irony of buying a song with the words "fuck you I won't do what you tell me" because facebook told you too. That pleases me more than making cowell sad.

I saw them at Reading last year and couldn't help noticing the irony of 150,000 people jumping up and down in unison screaming "Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me". Great band though, thoroughly deserve the number 1 slot especially as some of the profits are going to children's charities. I've bought 2 copies last week sometime.

Simon Cowell wouldn't say anything if it didn't benefit him in some way. Sony pays his salary from the record selling point of view- he has as much to gain from RATM as he does X Factor. So his comments on sour grapes, Scrooge etc only serve to deliberately rile people and thus cause them to  buy more 'protest' copies even more. I'm all for manufactured pop not dominating the charts, and it'll make lots of people feel special if their side wins, but I'm not buying something just to get at Simon Cowell, because at the end of the day it's more money for him- why should he care if he doesn't get to number 1 after 5 years running? Muppets Bohemian Rhapsody ftw.

Yeah its not exactly hard to orchestrate the masses to do your bidding, thats pretty much the basis of society, but only giant douches and turd sandwichs ever run with it and make it their career through politics or instructing the masses what to listen to.

Anyway all royalties from rage are going to charity, ok sony are going to chomp the rest and simon will see some of it, but meh.
