doesnt matter too much.. as long as it's either a matched pair or 2gig stick it's all good.. Unless John is going to offer you a 4gb loan  Right, just checked. DDR2 667 - not major name brand. 2 GB (2x1GB matched pair). Yours to keep for price of postage plus a nice bag of sweets. Sorry... as usual I talked it up and failed to deliver the big boy goods  Thought it was DDR2 800, but much slower. |

For the record: Win7 gave 4gb of my slower RAM a 0.1 better performance quotient than 2gb of my faster RAM (PC-3200 vs PC-6400). Amount of RAM seems to count more than the speed in this case.

The difference in RAM speeds is mostly imperceptible marketing stuff unless you're a hardcore overclocker or doing specialist things. And definitely better to have lots of slow RAM than a little fast stuff.
