I'm a notorious game starter... but I hardly ever complete a game. It has to be exceptional to hold me to the end....

My five 100% completed games are:
Deus Ex
Tomb Raider 2
Command and Conquer
Doom
Medal of Honor

Games I wanted to complete but I was just too dumb to do it
Half Life

Games that just lost me along the way
Half Life 2
Deus Ex (Invisible War)

Games that I like, but just don't seem to get back to often
Company of Heroes

Games that i have currently on the boil.. but its taking a long time

Just couldn't bring myself to complete the damn games despite getting to about 80%. With HL1, I just reached a point where I got stuck and could go no further. Since I don't cheat or look up the answers, the game stagnated for me (dumbass I know). Deus Ex (Invisible War) lost me at 20%.

This is obviously excluding games like Solitaire, Hearts or Chess.

Too many to list, actually. Never finished Vampire The Masquerade, started it about three time already, always great fun always gets deleted for one reason or another. FarCry2 and Fallout3 are also on my "Not yet finished" list, had to remove them due to the switch to Win7 and didn't reinstall them yet. Otherwise I finish every game I start before I move on to the next one, except if it sucks and I delete it. My backlog of "Games to play next" is unbelievably long because of this habit.

I'm in a similar boat, last games i actually played all the way through were Crysis, Crysis Warhead, COD4 (the first modern warfare) and Borderlands (only did one playthrough though, diddn't care about lewt enough to go for lvl 50)

Ever since playing an obscene amount of WoW (averaged something like 8 hours a day over 3 years) I'm a bit burnt out on games, the moment i start to get bored i'll drop it.

To shock you all a bit: The last game I finished was CakeMania 
At the moment I play the settlers 6 some times but I'm not finished yet

I make a point to finish most games I play..

Some of the better Games I have finished-
Oblivion (did all the main quest/factions/shiv isles/kotn)
Bioshock (like 4 times)
Crackdown (about 10 times)
CoD:WaW (really awsome storyline)
Assassins Creed
All the GTA games (did IV on the X360 in 1st week of release )
Borderlands (nearly finished 2nd playthrough)
New Super Mario Bros DS (epic game for a handheld)
Mario Galaxy Wii (another great mario title) (Also completed EVERY other mario platformer, not into the RPGs)
The Gears Of War pair (theyr pretty good once you get into them, multiplayer is to 1337consoletard for me though)
The Darkness (only on the consoles, but well worth a look)
Dark Sector (did it on the X360 a while back, before the PC version came out. Plays like Gears Of War but with a huge ninja star that can slice bitches heads off!)
CANNOT FORGET PORTAL! EFFING EPIC SP GAME

The list goes on and on and on...

Completed some franchises for the sake of it..
The HL Games (in blue shift/opposing force ect)
CoD4 (didnt like it that much tbh.. felt like I was on autopilot)
Crysis (god, that was just so I could say I did it)

I try and play most games I get to the end, the only ones I haven't (yet) are Bioshock, the new Riddick game, both KOTOR games and Mass Effect. Also haven't finished Deus Ex but only because I keep getting distracted by newer games and Oblivion for the same reason. I do have quite a large list of games I've got but haven't really played yet too, including all the Theif games, the new Sam and Max, FEAR + expansions, Psychonauts and a couple others I can't remember.

I've got a lot more games I've not "finished" (ie; done the core story). Fallout 1 & 2 (both incomplete, need to replay them, never got far), Deus Ex (need to get back to), Heroes of Might and Magic 5 more recently, Command and Conquer: Tiberium Sun (man it got boring).

Some games are just terrible and I'll never go back to though. I'm glad I've forgotten several of them to be honest

 Loads tbh, like Hzza said, I pretty much always play something through to the end. This barely dents the list

I don't play as much as I used to do (sigh, where has all the free time gone?). Usually I play those games through.

Some memorable exceptions from the last few years:
DOOM3 (such a rubbish game) and Crysis (though I might give that another try just for the eye candy and the feeling not to have wasted the money).

There are a few games I always wanted to give another try:
Still have to play Discworld II and I feel I should give Deus EX another chance (this one threw me off rather early in the tutorial mission and somehow I never picked it up again).

I thought the same thing, bought it, didn't play it for ages, then when I got around to it was so so so so so fucking disapointed! Srsly, accept you've pissed away some money, uninstall it then burn the disk. For me. Please .

Bah, I don't get all the Crysis hate. It's not the greatest game ever, but if I was stranded on a desert island and had to take either Crysis or (say) HL2Ep1, I'd probably have Crysis.
