I would like to change but I'm signed up to so many things on my hotmail account it's going to be an almighty ballache to get them changed over so I'm going to stay where I am atm. One more security scare with hotmail and I'll change Wink.

Then never advertise your email address anywhere...... No spam, no security issues Wink

i have my outlook attached to my gmail via imap, who knows why, my outlook has a spaz every 10 minutes and crashes, its automatically disabled half its add-ons that its identified as crashing but its still wonky

imap allows you to access the sub folder in your online account, so basically your outlook will look like your webmail, with all the sub folders. So accessing email from either location will look the same.

pop3 on the other hand only access the inbox and takes a copy of any new emails (and removes them from server if set to).  i.e. pop servers are only really to be used as a host and you should 'file' emails to your wishes offsite.
