This point confuses me:

A server is marked as "hardcore" either when Friendly Fire is enabled, or when all the typical hardcore settings (hardcore killcam minimap etc) have been flipped

I thought hardcore was a separate setting? (50%, no regeneration)
So it's impossible to have friendly fire without disabling regeneration?

No it looks like theres a hardcore setting in itself, and if you just turn on hardcore it doesn't actually mark the server as hardcore, it only marks the server as hardcore if FF is on or all hardcore related settings are on.

Yeah..it's an ATI 10.4 Preview Release of the driver which is meant to address the long loading times on 5000 series cards.

We aren't going to tell you what weapon balance tweaks we have done, we want your unbiased views on the changes before we detail what has changed

Thats the point of not telling you, so you dont go looking for the changes instead you feel what the changes are.
We'll tell you later what the changes were.

For example, once in BF2 we put in our changelist we had tweaked an assault rifle. The feedback ranged from "Horrible changes it is ruined" to "OMG this is so much better" and in the end we didn't actually change a thing with the gun. So telling you what is changes doesnt get an unbiased review of whether you think the changes are for the better or not.

Though you can probably expect the M60 to be nerfed

Its an xbla exclusive for the time being :/ hate you ms. Interesting that in the US you can only win the stuff but you pay for it in the EU. I'm half expecting this stuff to come free to the pc because they know we are rubbish and whiny unlike those console people who buy anything.

Do it, but be on Mumble with friends when you first play! There is lots to learn and nowhere else to pick it up from other than mates who can explain the "exotic" nature of the game for newbies.

That said, immense fun once you understand more
