it's near enough battlefield. the scope of the battles aren't as big as previous games but it's still fairly decent. not being able to go prone does suck but it does fit within the game in the sense that some things have changed for the infantry i.e. tanks & choppers don't rape as much. oh and bunny hopping twats are back so of course it's battlefield!! other than that i like it and will be playing it for a while to come, i'm sure it'll become even better once i get to play it with people who aren't clueless and want to play as a team. speaking of that, anyone interested in getting our own server together for the proper game? 32 player server for £32/month from multiplay. i'm more than willing to do that as we'd still keep this community together and we can unite against the pussy bunny hoppers  |

Yeah, the scope is a bit smaller, but honestly, I think it's for the best. I never liked 64 player maps much anyway.
I like the way that if you want to be optimal in vehicles you should take vehicle specs, so you're not an optimal infantry soldier. A nice bit of balance.
Don't really like the lack of selectable fire modes.

And I spent some quality time with yesterday and I agree with everyone's statements (Snipers are bastard, ping/lag, etc.), but blowing the sh*t out of tanks and 5 surrounding soldiers with an RPG is awesome! |

That would elegantly circumvent the problem with the bloody friends system. BTW, is there an internal voice comm in the game? (I've never heard anybody speaking) Otherwise alternatives (mumble?) would be a must. ...blowing the sh*t out of tanks and 5 surrounding soldiers with an RPG is awesome!
