It just comes down to convenience vs price for me. I don't care about the exclusive content or limited editions. Retail is usually cheaper than steam, unless it's a sale, I know that. I mean I live in germany, we're being abused twice on Steam (higher prices than retail AND a horrible currency conversion). I basically only buy stuff when it's on sale or through UK store, everything else is just a rip off, but I also play multiple games at the same period of time and I don't want to have to swap discs constantly.
The last game I bought in retail for me was FarCry 2 or the Lich King expansion for WoW, whichever came out last.
