In case anyone cares, I fixed my crashing issues!
I have an X-Fi, but use my onboard for microphone (annoyingly X-Fi optical out is also the microphone in socket :/ )
After disabling the onboard and using a usb microphone instead, no more crashes!


Also, I am hating the noob tube more and more every day, sick to death of getting the drop on people, shooting them down to about 10% hp, then they turn around and 40mm me.

In protest I've started abusing the Carl Gustav, hopefully it'll lead to all explosives nerfed soon.

First time playing it tonight, really enjoyed it, but noobtubing...just FU basically. Lamest I saw was on a pub server afterwards, guy just throwing himself an ammo pack and just noobtubing away. It's mega fail

You can only get the magnum ammo with a specific veteran rank (I think its 2). After that you can unlock it at level 15.

I had only a vet rank 1 and got it, tbh I think the thing saying sign up for vets on it is an oversight, I think it unlocks for everyone at lvl 15, and 12 gauge shotty is level 16, or possibly the other way around but 15/16 anyway.

he never plays the mp except in l4d it seems. Or mmos. He has this weird rule that he doesn't play fps multiplayer, and its just wrong for some games. The BC2 sp is a throwaway abortion to appeal to MW fans. If hed played the mp and raised valid points about noobtubes, and at spam, and all the annoying things in mp great, but we know the sp sucks and thats not why we got it.

Just to say that I am enjoying the noob tube, but I don't camp ammo packs with it.

I either try to start or finish an attack with it.... with poor Disco bearing the brunt of my nooby attacks (sorry mate, you can just resort to sniping me again I suppose Wink)

Yahtze's write up was also shite tbh... no real multiplay which is where it's at. Single player is OK tbh... nothing great
