Oh yes the little seal was in the Metro newspaper but they were very careful to add that it was now being looked after.
They couldn't have published it otherwise, it would have been too sad and got the commuters angry. (for non-UKers, the Metro is given out free in the morning at tube/rail stations)

Brilliant paper, kept me amused in the mornings when I was back home for about 3 years. Never knew it came from Newcastle (where I am), and had been around for years on here on the equivalent of the tube, the Metro. |
