Haha, appealing to the world in hope to find ideal price for indie titles will fall on its face so hard, when this experiment will show, that on the internet, the ideal price for everything is about 0.0 <your favorite currency here>.

Ok, I'm silightly confused. Why would you punish some one for doing a good deed?

What? Did they break in to your home and redecorate?

Force you a knife point into a better apointed and up to date wardrobe choise?

Well.. the best example of that, that I can come up with on the spot would be: Trying to protect a random stranger, who got attacked by three people, getting attacked yourself by all four of them, punching one of them really hard in self defense and then getting sued by at least two of them for an assault. Really happened here in Germany. We're funny like that.

Goo is worth £5-10 approx. £16 is way overpriced and I feel they deserve all the 65p purchases they are going to get because of their overpricing in the past. Jonathon Blow maker of Braid got complaints when he priced the PC version like World of Goo and other titles and in reponse lowered its price to £10 in line with the price on Xbox Live. Braid is perfectly priced at £10 and its annoying when other crappier games think they are worth £16. World of Goo is not crappy but its still not better than Braid which in my mind is setting the Benchmark in price/quality for the genre.

Well I had more fun with World of Goo than with Braid, which altough I have bought at around the same time as World of Goo, I didn't play at all except for the demo. Will play it at some point in the future of course, but if I was to compare the demos, World of Goo would win.

For me, the limit for spontanious purchase lies by about 15€ for games that I heard about and wanted to have eventually and about 10€ for games, that I didn't really heard about but that look like fun. I don't think I payed more than 10€ for World of Goo though, was probably some kind of a weekend deal or maybe the christmass madness on steam. Don't remember, but I'd place the sweet price for titles like this at about 15€.

thing is, i think world of goo looks like a hell of a lot of fun. i just done have enough money to buy it at full price. i'll just have to do the same thing i did for in rainbows and just give them a quid for it.
