Well I don't play MW2 but for me it sounds like (slightly) new gamemode on old maps?
And altered-Gamemode-pack really doesn't roll of the tongue.

This BC2 "map pack" thing just smacks of pre-existing content being "activated" post release, with the publishers/devs expecting fanbois to fap over their generosity! Its irrelivant though, it's happening and its just another reason to not like a game I already don't like, yet can't stop playing  . |

I'm fairly sure they're doing the maps as they go along, I mean look at Arica Harbour conquest, it sucks! I'll bet nobody playtested that. They're using the existing maps and doing very minor edits to support other modes. Its main purpose is to kill second hand purchases on consoles as you have to pay for a new vip code if you bought second hand, they've spun it as free shit to existing owners but obv its not really. In some ways though a steady map release schedule would benefit the community by renewing interest. But I don't think they're quite pulling that off with deathmatch and squad rush modes all thats in pack 3. Although i had a decent time on squad rush with brahms the other day |

Well, if you join a server with your friends, it tries to put you on the same team. I prefer the BC2 system to sitting around in a lobby waiting for opponents to be found.
