I think the fact is £10 for 5 maps, 2 of which were in the previous game is persuasion enough tbh.
Thats like Valve charging for 2fort, badlands, frieght, gorge and junction.

Using BC2 isn't a great comparison seeing as I STILL can't find any servers, which for a predominantly online game is pretty bad...
If you want to wang around comparisons, L4D2 for £19.99 would prolly be a better one.

Well my broke-ass computer can find servers for every other game I've ever played online so I don't think thats the problem . And yeah, I can join through friends, but what if none of my friends are online/in-game? |

But this doesn't appear to be the experience for many people as at today. Have you run the updater? It's in the game folder. |

Run the updater mate. Steam update works on games native to steam. I don't believe that BC2 gets the auto update treatment.
Look in the BC2 game folder, there is the main game .exe file and a couple of update related .exe files. The game will auto start after an update.
