you're right.. you have to change the output device when you plug in a usb headset.. whereas if you plug the jacks into the front of your pc (99% of pcs have front panel audio jacks) it'll automatically switch for you Smiley

For reference the headphones I brought a second pair of are SpeedLink Medusa 5.1 headphones. Got them for 64.38 inc. delivery from Scan. Good because of the separate unit allowing easy switching between headphones and speakers, along with the mic and 5.1 not being utterly terrible, heh.

Still, those 20 quid ones look good too Cheesy
