Mass Effect is a good and well made game, but it can be a tad slow at times (in particular using that accursed moon buggy to wander around a barren moon before nearly being eaten by a worm...).

Anyway, it's good, but don't expect much fast paced action from it. There is quite a bit of managing equipment and skill / squad sets too.

The other two I'm not so sure about, as I've only played them a tiny bit.

I've heard RA3 is a massive fail, FEAR 2 generally alright, Mass Effect mixed reviews. Some love it, some find it a bit dull

ra3 is massive fail fo' sho', played the demo and it sucks harder than i expect ea had to push to get that turd out

fear 2 looks ok, the first was alright i suppose

mass effect was not too great imo

out of the lot i would go for fear 2 as that has 50% off this weekend

Steam tip- try the demo first.. if its on steam, itll usually update from the demo meaning less downloading when you buy.. and you get to try the game out first Smiley

hated RA3 demo so much, seemed to remove what was fun from most cnc games and i can't really rember how but it more of a chore than enjoyable

Mass Effect just plain doesn't work for me, so it gets hatred from me just for that reason.

I know people who swear by FEAR, not sure about numero deux...
