Quite frankly I like the fact that the halo is just a "toy halo" and looks a bit crappy. IMO it takes the edge off it. |

We don't see that the use of a fake idle TF2 server as worthy of a ban or the label "cheat". Valve hasn't banned people either - which is what they do for cheating. |

Plus we had a link to the idle server on our forum. The general view was that idle servers were legal and Valve made no statement to the contrary.

It appears Valve was making a stand on third party programs more than ''idling'' as a whole. In their recent blog post, they stated that they had to ''draw the line at the use of third party programs''.
