I'm hooked. Love it. Gonna get bored pretty quick with 4 maps and the match maker is dire but when you finally manage to hook up with a mate, it's a complete giggle.
Not for the hardcore, mind.

Yeah, it's a fun game to play with a few mates, but that's all it is...and it requires you all to want to play it at the same time. Me and Chug have had a few games on it since the beta was first released but it's certainly not a game I would pick up and play on my own - purely because I don't think it's in-depth enough to keep me entertained. Playing with friends is fun though.
If you fancy a game - just give us a shout sometime and If I fancy it too then we'll have a bash at it.

i have 2 and 2142 installed still. I get my giggles from squatting on peoples heads in a war walker or landing a transport in their face. Although last time I played I got a bit sick or being in a tank and air transports ramming me, not sure why they havn't fixed tanks to not explode when some jerk rams you. One guy I have to give props to though, he aimed an air transport at me from a distance and then jumped out to kill some other dudes. A few seconds later empty transport hit me which is an impressive feat.

played the beta and for the short time that was going it was quite fun running through the missions but it got old fast
quick note, the 1.50 patch for BF2 has been released quite recently.

Played the beta, not really that impressed to be honest. Had a good little session with Chuggy and its definatly more fun with people you know but still not something I can see myself playing anymore.

Oh marenghi I'd love to, but I don't use xfire (anymore). We can communicate through steam friends or some voice tool, though? Me and a friend of mine used to play like this and never had a problem getting on the same server.
Which class do you usually play? I'm usually anti-tank or medic. Also do you have BF 2142?
