Hmm, the crossbow for the medic replaces the syringe gun, not the medic gun. Which means you could have the set bonus during a normal match.
That would mean +1 health/s additionally and the ability to heal over long range, for the downside of being totally defensless (weren't you already?). Interesting...
@Basically, some other items are allowed too, like the crossbow. It's about as far from vanilla as possible, since the unlocked melees are much better.
have to say i think the crossbow is overpowered with the bonus i was able to heal up easy enough by running away for a few seconds and shooting backwards while doing so.... |

Medieval is a bit rubbish, yeah. Might be more fun with WDG.
I decided to buy the big pack for £30, that's my buy for this year, bundles only methinks. Shame it doesn't include all the new stuff, sigh!

Agreed. The map / mode was dire and I only saw it for about a minute. What a waste of time! PLUS... can only really play as sniper or demo... everyone else, why bother |

We had a good laugh with medieval mode for a bit last night. Sadly our 20 minutes of laughs was ruined by the morons turning up. Come map changed they all went off looking for their 24/7 cp_degrootkeep server. Also, Tommy was legendary with his fists of fury.
