I also read that If you join the IEEE, you can get access through that.

Any specific reason why they are giving you access to the MSDN as a student? Only reason I ask is that, if MSDN keys get leaked, the uni will lose the subscription.... and being students who want everything for nothing.... there is a good chance they will lol

http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.206-3928.aspxTesco are currently offering Windows 7 at £50 as a pre-order. Pretty good deal - plus you get 98 clubcard points.

Not sure I've asked this already: Will the disk hold all versions and it only depends on the license which one will be installed? To my knowledge that was the case with Vista, right?

It was the case with Vista, except that the oem edition only had 32 or 64 bit. I think it's the same with 7.

If it was up to me, Win7 would have been 64 bit only. I'm sick of games etc being written for 32 bit only and meaning a good chunk of my comps capability goes to waste. If you're still on a 5 year old CPU, suck it up and stay with XP.

+ EFFING 1!!! Still waiting for x64 drivers for a couple of bits I want to connect
