Right, so now I have jumped on to LoL. I only got about 20 minutes to mess with it and I have to say that it is looking better. Yes the mechanics may be inferior but this is about 10 times better so far. It actually had an introduction for christs sake!
so does HoN.. when you click play now you can do the tutorial if you so choose. |

tutorials are useless. A good hon player will beast @ LOL but a good LOL player will feel too new

I assume most people like lol over hon is because it is easier, more casual. When you play hon and lol for the first time and do a lot worse in hon you are probably going to play lol.

LoL is easier theres no way around that. Doesnt mean its a bad game, hell I play it alot and its fun, but now that Ive picked up HoN again it just feels dull and too forgiving.

I find the greatest barrier to getting in to HoN isn't the lack of tutorial or terrible community, it's the fact that everyone speaks a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT LANGUAGE

yeah the ability to play bots and earn exp alone makes it better its such a gentler transition for noobs. LoL is a much more honed package tbh. yes its missing features for the experienced gamer (denies etc) but tbh hon buries that under a very unfriendly package so i can see why it would turn a lot off.

I won 12 games in a row as kraken in solo mmr. As soon is i hit 1600 i get matched with trolls that seem to rather fight over mid than play
