made it to level 11 (Soldier) and got the car, good fun so far though pathfinding on mobs leaves a fair bit to be desired. It's vital to stick to your level band, you do fuck all damage against higher mobs.
Got one low level purple and a few blues so far, really need some new weaps.

Sniper Rifle ftw, I've got a nice one with a decent clip size and rate of fire. Have a great blue machine pistol to back it up with a huge clip, it's like a super accurate SMG with hardly any recoil. Assault rifles will be great when i'm further down the skill tree.

So far I've found shotguns to be the worst weapon group by far.

Sorry, i'm not very coherent atm, too much caffeine not enough sleep. If anyone has specific questions i'll have a go at answering them.

A few more thoughts -
Humour and art is great. Havn't had a single crash and my framerates have been >50fps at 1920x1200. Theres a slight occasional issue where some of the textures will flash green, but it doesn't happen very often.

Pathfinding for the AI can be a bit of an issue that i've noticed. Theres also some annoying console concessions with the Interface, things like having to use the page up/down keyboard buttons instead of being able to mousewheel scroll through quest descriptions gets on my nerves.
