Skullmasher sniper rifles fucking pwn ass, pretty much a super tight spread shotgun but with all the lovely power of a sniper rifle <3. Also, just for the look of the thing (and the name thinking about it) my Cruel Violator pistol  . Will post pics when I'm at home, tis teh sex. |

Hmm, engi unlock coming up...
? played it all the way through, the shotguns that shot rockets were terrible... The hellfire smg > all. It didn't even matter if they were resistant it still raped, every new 'legendary' i got was garbage compared to it, even if it was lvl 3X and they were 48. meh i will stop posting here you guys probably don't want to hear it!  |

He's right Cruel, those shottys suck balls 99% of the time, the only good one I had had some crazy fire rate and flame element on it and I still only used it to soften people up before i zerked them!

Best weapon i've found so far was a rocket launcher with a fire rate of 5.5. Although it did just eat ammo at an incredible rate and wasn't really that great because it's damage wasn't great. Fun to play with for a bit though  |

Might do, although aparently a few people have had random equipment deletions which is making me a bit nervous....Still anoyed that they haven't patched some of the bugs to be honest, seems like that would be more of a priority then pushing more DLC out the door.
edit - I have heard that the arena thing is pretty good fun though, great with a group of 4 by all accounts.

Nope, Bricks rocket launcher ammo regen on his mods STILL doesn't work (from day 1 thats been there) and some of the weapons red text STILL doesn't work (day 1 issue) as well as the stupid mulitplayer/port routing thing; the community has come up with more bugfixes then Gearbox which shows you how much support we've had! If its any consolation claws, the console versions are still much more bugged then the PC version thanks to the community fixes so thats something to be a bit thankful for! Such a shame, so many stupid little bugs that if fixed would make the game so much better!

Agreed, it could have been so much better. And if the DLC was, I dunno, a couple of quid-ish rather than 6-7, I'd be way more tempted. The game is almost a DLC vehicle and that annoys me.

If the only thing that's holding you back is the fear of loosing your stuff, just go to Documents\My Games\Borderlands and create a copy of the folder SaveData.
