Looks good - I have a couple of minor points though that I think might improve it.
- The style is very cool.
- I would possibly make the whole thing thinner. I tend to have my browser windows at about 1280*1024 (even though I have a 22" widescreen) and some of the navigation is starting to get cut off. The text in the news block seems too stretched out so I would make that thinner, and then move the navigation and splash background in line with it, instead of in-line with the top of the page. Or if your CSS is good then you could possibly have the content with a liquid width so the nav menu always appears in smaller browser windows.
- Finally, I would obfuscate your email address to reduce spam. (
http://www.alicorna.com/obfuscator.html ) it's not a big deal but it means robots (oh noes teh robots) can't steal your email address.
Does that make any sense?
Really like the font though - that's awesome. Did you make that or is it a font from somewhere? And the chains around the titles look good too.
