As at today, we've decided to ditch 2Fort from server 1 map rotation and votes. This map seems to be particularly dire of late, and also empties the server. Maybe some of you like it, but sorry, its gone for the time being.  |

As long as Steel stays, I'm happy.  I must admit CTF_2Fort is odd, even compared to CTF_Well and CTF_Turbine, it's a killer since the design promotes sitting in your base defending with sentry guns, with no way around them (the original TF version was actually a lot easier to flag cap with a variety of class grenades to take things out around the sharp corners, and a lift that got replaced by the long stairs made escape a bit easier). Don't we still have egypt, hoodoo and hydro though? I thought they killed the server quite a bit too - honestly I've never seen 2fort voted for on a vote however recently! |

Steel isn't universaly popular (I actually don't mind it despite my occasional whines!) I think it will stay (with Egypt too) because it doesn't have the "2Fort" effect... yet! |
