I got a PS3 recently as i'm getting a new TV (Samsung 46inch LED) so wanted the blue ray plus i like playing footy and sports games.
As I had PES on the PC thought i'd give Fifa 09 a go, which isn't too bad, but I was wondering if anyone else played it or any other sports/driving games if so which ones should i look at getting?

Dirt and grid are ultimate for driving games
although seeing as you have a ps3, you HAVE to get gran turismo (dont bother with prologue, its crap, wait for the new one)
get LBP and Ill play along with out, although I have no mic hehe

Being a lifelong Pro Evo player I was well up for getting that, but after some mates at work said it was shite I went for FIFA 09 which is quality. Graphics are amazing and the oponent/teammate AI is pretty kick ass. Smackdown Vs Raw 09 is also a guilty pleasure of mine too.....
edit - Chaos, LBP sucked ass, I really didn't get that game at all; it just seem'd like a crapy but pretty 2.5d platformer.

If your looking for a driving game on PS3 you should try the 2 Motorstorm games. They have some really nice looking grafics.
(But PS3 sucks, Im a 360-Fanboy)

And the "exclusive" ps3 games totally failed one after another (or should I mention that superdupershooter "haze"?). Well Im not really that big of an 360 fanboy, I just have it since christmas and Im really happy with it. I played on the ps3 of my brother sometimes and all I can say about it is that its a big overpriced pile of... |

This topic won't end if it starts going off topic and about 360 vs PS3..... why get one when you have a perfectly good pc which has tf2 on it, what else do you need?
