Played through all of Chapter 2 (spinner cay) today. I found it slightly less engaging than Chapter 1 (narwhal) but the fight at the beginning was superb, along with the magnificent ending.
Speaking as a die-hard fan of Monkey Island (having owned them all since I was a lot younger) I think Telltale have done a reasonably good job with these games, they've definitely kept the same humour that fans know and love going and most of the puzzles make sense and aren't just random use x on y. Also I was much happier when I realised you could use WASD rather than the hateful click and hold the mouse system.

I suppose it's good for the kids who might never have played it, but I dunno, I'd just play scummvm if I hadn't already finished them all 9000 times.

I guess I'm in some sugar induced haze, because for a second there I thought you implied there was something wrong with the gameplay of Monkey Island 2.

Monkey 2 was the best of them all. it had the catchy skeleton tune.

In my opinion it goes 3, 1, 4, 2 in descending good-ness. 3's art style just appeals to me hugely. And I think 2 isn't as funny as 1, and gets too weird. 4 just pips it for novelty value.

£3.50 in real money . Pretty worth it tbh, the first 3 are good but I don't think I ever finished the last 2.
