My nephew is lead guitarist in the band, Needs Must, I thought it was just a normal, couple of gigs a month in a pub but he was showing me some stuff they had just done in a studio and it was bloody amazing, reminded me of Arctic Monkeys/Kaiser Chiefs stuff, they also had some their older (ie copywrited but not so good) stuff on Invicta Radio (the Kent local radio) over the weekend. They don't have much of a web presence, just a myspace page with a couple of old songs on http://www.myspace.com/needsmustuk. They do gigs all over the place in SE England but mostly in the Medway towns and Tunbridge Wells with occaisional trips to London. If you get a chance go see them. |

Sounds good.  They should sign up on Last.fm as artists. Free marketing and they make a little money. A win-win if you ask me. |

agreed pretty good actually, when people say bands sound like the arctic monkeys i usually think "shit then" but i was pleasantly surprised and they should get on last.fm like torgue says |

My sister in law got a text about 2am last night, apparently Needs Must are on the brink of being signed by Warner.
Told you they are good.
Predicting Timbucthree as their first single.

I personally dont like the Libertines.. but lots of people do..
Besides that, Needs Must do sound better and I actually like the music..

Update, found out tonight they have been signed by a record label they have been in discussion with for a while, they are releasing an album in January.
Check out their link in the first post, they have put up some of their better songs.
They are supporting the Pogues at the moment amongst other gigs.
