depending on how long it takes to switch between it and the SMG.
Take about the time it takes to switch from bonesaw to ubersaw, it is the replacement for the smg (because if it replaces the sniperrifle it would seem strange) proof? There is an achievement called Jarate Chop and it looks like a jar of piss and a giant butterknife on the logo. I really don't like the concept of giving snipers more "Anti-spy" equipment but whatever... I think Jarate is the new melee weapon and the Razorback replaces the SMG. Nahhhh This could mean smashing an enemies jar of piss with your knife though..... the only achievment that made me smile was the star wars referencing "trust your feelings" guessing it's getting 5. Kills without being scoped in.
My first impression with the karate chop achievment was hitting an ennemys jar with your knife. Seems more of an achievment to me then stabbing a piss soaked sucker.

I do no scope kills all the time.. theyr easy now that they have a crosshair built into the GUI...
Stupid valve.. the whole point was to not have one for unscoped kills so this isnt CSS
will they ever learn?

soooooo are we expecting any different unlocks for tomorrow or just the 3 for both the classes where their unlocks replace just two weapons (both the spies watches replacing the original then the shield and jarate for the sniper replacing the smg) also saw this when i watched back the meet the sniper video  seems the spy has had that black and gold cigarette for a while. |

[damn your post is annoying to cut down to a quote] Yeah we established that it's because the red spy has normal cigarettes and the blue spy smokes cigarillos like cigarettes. I think the update is coming tonight (some time before 02:00 am) and it might include another spy unlock but possibly not because no achievements really point towards a knife unlock, however there might be an update which showcases hats (really dunno). The release date is the 21st. |

out of interest does it say wether or not the team mates you save from burning with jarate will also have the 35% damage increase?
