This made me want the Dead Ringer and to be able to play spy!

I was doing that on Thursday, was fucking awesome. The problem is that on certain stages of some maps it's really hard to utilise.

Aye, as has been said, I sometimes try to take a hit or two before using it. Vice versa, I tend to go a class with weak health so it's more plausable to go down in one hit

Anyone who has had the game for longer than a few months will already have all the old items - so why would anyone trade a duplicate item (e.g. an ubersaw or backburner) for one of the new items. This trading system will surely only work if they released all the class updates at once - then you could swap for the ones you wanted for the classes you play. Duplicate items for the already released classes are going to be pretty worthless right?

edit: I understand that it will be good for things like hats etc. and for class updates in the future but for example things like the medic items it's going to be useless :/

Well, maybe within this clan it could be handy. I'd gladly hand over any items to fellow clan members who did't have the unlocks for their primary classes if it meant I could get the Demoman items promptly when they're released in return.
