It looks sexy, not sure I agree with the principal behind it. Looks more like an upgrade then an option but hey, I guess we'll find out in 2 days . edit - is that a pic of a nudy chick on it, with a fan over her chuff no less!

Well it is an option really as the pay off for accuracy and possibly power is rate of fire. If a spy gets caught out they may only have a one shot chance of killing their attacker if they aren't close enough to stab. Could be really slow for all we know.

Yeah it's an engraving of your enemys mother. Dont think there is enough room on the gun for a sketch of my mother so I should be safe from handcannon fire

From the article it looks like it might have crit headshots. There are two sorts of men in this world: the sort with blood pouring out of a hole in their heads, and the sort holding the Ambassador Which means two insta-kill weapons for the spy, which is most definitely OP.

I have feeling there will also be another payoff if it does get headshot crits. Maybe some effect on cloaking time or maybe even no cloaking! 8 pounds of mother loving metal maybe just too much for that tiny watch.

I think if its got the acuracy of a sniper rifle it should have the firing speed to match. But like I said, we'll find out fo'sho come Thursday.

Since they say about it being so heavy, i'm thinking slower movement speed. Not sure that it would balance crit headshots though, with its amazing accuracy.
Also lots of speculation going on about the strange coloured cigarette the spy is holding in the pic, some people reckon it's always been like that, but i remember it always being white-ish.

Sad to say this, this might be a little over powered...
Looks very nice but I just don't think that it is going to work.

It's difficult to say really, depends on how long the cooldown is and how much damage it does etc. I'm sure Valve will tweak it if they get it wrong.

Okay, but I'm don't quite get what the point of this weapon is. It doesn't offer much advantage to the regular Colt. The only scenario I could think of where this could be useful would be a spy to sneak behind enemy lines and "snipe" from behind (then cloak and relocate for another shot or stabbing action). But that scenario is very limited.

hmm.. looks fun though. Navigating through enemy lines and then sniping from behind? not quite as effective as the knife, but could be fun

If it does enough damage I guess shooting scouts with it would be very possible.

Only if it protects against bullets as well as the knife. If the Razorback only stops knives then the ambassador becomes much more valid against snipers using it.
