In short, this is a very rough knock up. The sound quality and levels leave a lot to be desired. Truth be told only the first 50 seconds are kind of complete. There is still a whole bunch of sound files and effects to be added. And I still need to finish off recording my script. I've not attemoted anything like this since Media Studies at GCSE level. So I shudder to admit that was 18 years ago. So this is trying to get software on a Mac G4 to co-operate with a PC that has just been loaded to a 64-bit version of win7. So the music is by garage band. Some of the samples and my voice is through Creative Sound Recorder. And the final knock up is using Windows Live Movie maker. I've got a lot of work still to do on it. What am I on about? This... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IH_UtAtWAPM

Honestly. It's an inocent anecdote about being drunk and trying to paint a living room. Why what did you have in mind? What doesn't help is the fact that I wanted the generic TF2 sound bite. So I used the "Meet the Soldir" video. But i got the timing slightly wrong so you get the "Thud" of the head falling off the fence right befor the music. So couple that with the coment befor and it paints a comletly different mental image

So, when do we hit the server for a karaoke TF2 sing along? Admittedly the server crashed last time we sang happy birthday...

Would be interesting to see some of your traffic stats there teatime do you know your daily hit/visitor count targets and projections? Actually not worth mentioning, since I fail to get the site out into the open (my own fault entirely). I was hoping to make the site more known through a few selected sites (e.g. ubercharged) but never quite managed to pull that off. And currently I completely lack the time and energy since my current working hours are (relatively) brutal.

I might be able to give you a hand with that... SEO is a good way to go and you can manage your traffic stats with some php plugins What software are you using?

It's SPIP (a french CMS, feel free to shudder in horror now), which handles traffic counting just fine (thankyouverymuch). (FYI: meandering around 50 views per day, averaging at about 1500 views a month.) I can think of just about three more über 1337 SEO's, which is using the title tag a bit more, and making more/better use of meta tags, and having a google sitemap page. Feel free to share your wisdom.
