Yeah anything to do with food and they throw a hissy fit about piercings.
Which is why i am still very surprised why they let me have mine at work. (i'm a waiter part-time at a restaurant) i have both my ears stretched to 20mm , ring in my tragus, septum done and 2 in my lip so not loads but enough for someone to be able to say something. I guess though i've been doing it long enough and i'm good at my job that they don't see the point.
I have only ever had one complaint and it was just laughable. Some family came in and i served them, nice and polite and they seemed fine. Anyway comes to the end of their meal and the mum goes and hunts out my manager.
Mum: are you the manager
manager: yes i am what seems to be the problem?
mum: its that waiter, the one with all the stuff in his face,i'd like to make a complaint!
manager: I'm sorry, what seems to be the problem?
Mum: i think it's very irresponsible you letting him work here!
manager: What exactly has he done?
Mum: oh nothing at all, he's very nice and polite but his face scared my child
manager: excuse me?
Mum : yes, and i am afraid we shall never be coming here again as long as he works here, my child is far too scared.
manager: well i'm very sorry to hear that but as you said he is a good waiter and we hire our staff upon their ability and work ethic and not appearnce.
Mum: oh
Manager: goodbye
Good luck with the neck, i only know 2 people that have been able to keep theirs in permanantly.
Also deep clavicles are hardcore, knew a girl who had em , looked awesome but painful as hell.
You into suspenssion and such then?
Storey sound pretty funny. I once managed to stop a little girl dead in her tracks, just by walking down the street, she actually had a "

" facial expression, lol.
I know that the neck probably won't last, it only cost a tenner.
Never tried suspension, would be cool, but realistically I'm never going to do it.
Lol but might I add that Matts (Vegan) mohawk fell out after over dying it, leaving with a little bleached blond tuft for a while. Awesome
I have to take out my lip ring for work, but get to leave the tunnels in which is fortunate. Besides, looks a hell of a lot worse when you take them out. Most people don't seem to have a problem with it (they're only 14mm), infact some customers ask how to do it etc.
Though you do occasionally get the people just staring at you like you've just cut an eggy fart right under their nose

I was considering getting a lip or a septum piercing, but I wouldn't have time for it to heal and I'd have to take it out for work. I have to cover my tunnels with plasters, lol. (even though the plasters often come loose, and are far more likely to end up in someone's food than my piercings).
Work don't know about my neck, they'd probably get me plaster that too.
While I don't mind wearing plasters (now that my hair is short enough on the sides that it doesn't get stuck in them) it pisses me off that it's only me in the whole fucking shop who has to actually abide by the rules. Most of the girls in the café have at least 1 piercing in while they work. (one girl has a nose stud, another has her helix ring in all the time, they all wear rings (only allowed 1 wedding band, none of them are even married) and they're never told to take them off/out). The double standards annoy me, my tunnels are fare less likely to fall out then a standard piercing, but yet I'm the only person who is forced to wear plasters. (and I had to fight to get that when I first got them pierced).
