Hmmm I watch a fair amount of TV shows, here's to list but a few:

Lost (started watching it mid way through season 3, neven seen the first 2, not sure why I watch it tbh)

Charlie Brookers Screenwipe (megalols)
Prison Break (@ Teatime, what you said is spot on, though you realise Season 3 has been aired right? and No, it doesn't get better. I watched the first episode of season 4 and just said "No, I refuse to watch this anymore")
Grey's Anatomy (Shush, Jen loves it, made me start watching, now I can't help but enjoy it Sad)
Flight of the Conchords

and at the risk of a good flaming, I do watch a fair amount of Anime Cheesy
(Whilst there is a sea of shit out there, there are actually some good ones. Full Metal Alchemist was the first one I ever watched and remains one of my favs. Watched it as a "Pfft let's see what's so great about this shitty anime everyone on youtube has a hard-on for", then was addicted. One of the few animes that the dub voicing is actually good! I'd recommend it (not that anyone will watch it), a fair amount of fighting, blood, explosions and massacres Grin)

A couple of my mates were into anime for a while but it never really did anything for me. FFVII Advent Children is the only vaguly anime thing I own and I only own that because I lost about a year to the original game. Oh, and Casshern was pretty cool too.

I don't watch Series on TV.
If it interests me I buy it on DVD and watch it at my leisure and without unbearable commercial breaks. And the time to buy it depends on the "Can't-Wait-To-See"-factor, which in case of Prison Break suggest to wait for a price below 20,-.

Ann I have seen a few good animes myself. Besides the classics like "Akira" and "Ghost in the Shell" I really liked "Neon Genesis Evangelion". I saw recently "Elfenlied", which was very good as well.

New stuff? Lost is about it for active "watch TV" things, although I missed the BBC3 comedy/drama thing Being Human, which is pretty neat so far so I will try and catch season 2 of that.

I catch Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Have I Got News For You as the seasons go, and a bit of QI sometimes.

I download the odd US TV thing or Anime show too.

Older things - I am watching Invader Zim, House (all of them in order) right now. Watched tons of other great TV shows - a lot being comedies (Futurama - which I need to get the last DVD of - is awesome and really rewatchable), something games don't have enough well written stuff of Smiley

Er, TV tends to be a bit random for me. The only program that I will go out of my way to watch is "Heros". The rest tends to be programs that grab my attention at that moment in time. It's perfictable possable for me to wate an entire day if there is a back to back series of something like "A car is born" or "A Plane is born" and so on Smiley
