Start off playing the instant action against bots.. slowly build up your skill (start on novice untill you get to godlike..)
Then join servers..
Its a HARD game to play online and very fast paced

It's against easy bots.. should show you the pace you need to keep (but ignore the slowing effect when I kill someone... thats a mutator I found fun)

Yeah, thats what I did, then found that playing against the bots is generally more fun then getting constantly pwnd online. I'll take any of you punks on at UT2k4 though. Istagib FTW!

Massive bump! YEAH.

The Unreal engine (basic version) recently got released for free, so a lot of mods are now being converted to that engine and can now be played irrelevant of UT3 ownership. First one out: Prometheus, which is one of those self coop things that I always think I like and end up throwing my keyboard through the monitor over.

It's brilliant! Crashed horribly on me at one point though. Very clever in places, even compared to the similar games I mentioned.
