As we're debating Keyboards and Mice, I thought I'd enquire into what surface your using it on. I'm using my mouse on an Everglide Giganta. Manny years ago I was sold on the idear that as it had flecks of glitter in it, that this would improve the responce on the optical sensor. Aledgedly it would help prolong the battery life on cordless mice as they would be able to read where they are easily. Not sure myself. All the fabric covered mats I had before had a habbit of peeling away from the rubber backing eventualy. So at the time a sold mat that glows red with the reader had a lot of appeal. So what you using? A fabric covered job? Nothing at all other than the desk surface? Just the bed spread? The back of your gimp? Time to share

I have 3, two were acquired by going to a convention (people giving away mouse mats! CRAZY! one is foam with a clear plastic surface and the other one is just a piece of plastic(this is the one I use for TF2 ^^)) Last one was bought with a Dell PC, it was good but now it is bend so I need to get a new one...or just use the one I use now

I use 2 different mats This one is my main Use it for TF2. coupled with the Lachesis mouse gives awsome tracking and great feel Also (cuz Im an utter fanboy) I use this from time to time when my wrist hurts and it helps! (hurts from masterbation, not from RSI of course)

GIMP? I also prefer smaller mousepads because I can't fit those big Pro once on my desk

At home I use the desk surface. At uni I use a 2008 year calendar mousemat I found at home which says "CentreTek" and "DriveMyLaptop" and "ITXwarehouse" on it. Even if it is out of date I wanna get one of those razer mats I think though. I'd ideally like something in black to match the rest of my gear.

Razor Exactmat. It's got a different texture on each side, I prefer the "control" side to the "speed" side personally. Incredibly low friction on either side.

I always used to use one of those nasty fabric cheapo ones, but last time I upgraded I got an Everglide Titan. It's very nice:

One in the shape of the Rosetta Stone I bought at the British Museum. My gear really is ancient, and I can still win sometimes.

I use two cheap black mousemats stuck together underneath to make one larger one. Works entirely fine since I've never had any problems with it.

I just use the top of my desk as one huge mouse mat with a sprinkling of biscuit & toast crumbs for friction

I prefer dried up beer. Good job they didn't do marathon TF2 sessions back in the old ball mice days!
