Finally got down and brought this, should arrive tomorrow (thus my TF2 investment tonight getting the scout bonker). GFWL will be a pain but I already have it from Fallout 3 (I used a local account last time in it which was much better, but obviously DOW2 needs a live one to work online anyway, sigh).
That aside, the campaign sounds mucho fun, so I'm looking forward to it. Once I've had a play through might be interesting to play co-op if anyone has the time.

Or maybe we can play some online skirmishes... Played now some ranked games, I am lvl 2 with space marines (4 ranked games). And RELIC HAS TO FIX RANKED GAMES!!! I played now 2 games against guys which were lvl 19-20. Thats not the main idea of a ranked game to get screwed every secound game by a guy who played 200 games before. It was planned that you get random enemies which are on your lvl.... and if you get one its a lot of fun! I hope they will fix it soon.  |

I think it's just when no one is there. In the beta (which was of course a short amount of time people were on getting their rank) I had the same thing.
But I like the team version more then the 1v1 so I always played with random (and sometimes high level) people too.
Catch me on Steam and we'll sort GFWL crap, urg, what a system.
You sort out your problem in the end with it Papafade?

I have never had the problems with GFWL you guys have had...
I had a few issues with it not updating itself porpperly so I had to do it manually.. but thats nothing to some of the issues steam causes!
I have to turn off all sorts of stuff to get Q3 running! what a bitch

No m8. It wouldn't let me enter the 25 digit steam generated code. No help from GFWL support. So the game has gone back to Play. |

Especially if you can't spell "text" Chaos Also, I'd have complained and raised it with Play who could have likely sorted it out, or taken it further. Shouldn't take too long to get trading standards or whatever on the case, heh. I know, it's a small amount of money, but man, companies try and get away with anything and everything. At least you got a refund. |

I had seen those yeah. Loved the board game. Had a league going with a bunch of mates before I moved to Dorset.
What I'd love them to do is make a Battlefleet Gothic computer game. If Relic would do that for me, I'd be very happy.

Wow, yeah, like Homeworld but with W40k, hehe. In any case, Dawn of War 2 is fun, and I'm enjoying the campaign. Just about what I'd thought it'd be. Trying times trying to keep everyone alive and hectic tactical battles with things happening all at once is actually quite enjoyable.  |
