Not sure we need a second class which can slow people down.
And on maps like Dustbowl or Goldrush the effect is limited for offense, because closer to the final CP the way for defense is short anyway.

I still think the scout should have an unique edge capping (or at least reaching) points. Actually I would have no problem with the scout having an increased chance to bypass a sentry (let's say a device which would slow down the tracking of a sentry) if balanced correctly (e.g. replacing the shotty). He wouldn't have much power defending himself, but together with double capping speed it could effective.

Yes, agree. Natasha is fine unless you run into another Sasha wielding heavy or a soldier Sad

I just don't like having a slower rate of fire and less damage when going face to face against another heavy. I forsake Natasha in the hope that other classes take down the scouts (or they're stupid enough to perform a frontal attack on Sasha).

Teatime's spot on- a scout needs a heavy debuff if you're going to give him the ability to get past sentries, which are currently by far the most effective anti-scout measure. Taking away his primary damage entirely would be a plan- maybe a small amount of fire-style damage over time whilst slowed?

You'd be surprised how annoying natasha can be for a soldier, we move pretty slowly as it is and it makes escaping when you need to reload a lot harder.

Personally I consider Natasha + Pyro a nice combination.
Scouts are slow enough for the pyro to get and heavy classes have a harder time to reach health-packs.
The advantage of the pyro is that he is better in attacking multiple targets.

The scout is not good on defense - and before raging and saying tl;dr, read. he cannot defend, he always attacks. even on defense, he attacks, he does NOT deny area or choke a point/door, he does NOT hp-tank the cart/point or get the uber. instead, he works on the frontlines, hunting for specific classes not unlike the sniper, too. he scouts and with a good mic(and not too annoying voice) he reports what he sees. any class works if it's played by a good player though
