For those people like me who were indecisive enough to end up buying the whole Orange Box bit by bit or not at all (fun fact: only 50% of people who played Episode 2 actually completed it), Valve included Peggle Extreme, which is basically 10 levels of Peggle based on the Orange Box games. It's now free to anyone with a Steam account, right here. Enjoy!

Is it skill or luck on the higher levels? I mean, are there really people who can predict where that ball is going, or are you supposed to play levels over and over again until you get it right? Even on the first 5-6 levels I was only making it with 1-2 balls left!

Bit of both. Most of the skill comes in getting the balls into the moving hole thing after it bounces. Other than that it's wise use of the green powerup thing.

I've noticed the position of the special "targets" is random, so there's a little luck in that too.

Can't get past the sentry level, not really my thing either.
