thats what gabe said in the interview zarf. Jerks can play but they have to pay full retail for the game and $100 for voice comms.
I think this would increase the number of irritating girl gamers that play just for male attention rather than to actually play the games. Meh to them

I really really doubt they'll go that far.
What I expect is that instead of community weapons they'll give away Valve games.

I suspect this too. I imagine some pretty cool people will give away the games Valve gave them in competitions like the ones you see on youtube (best comment/story whatever). It's interesting at the very least. |

Exactly my thoughts. What I'd call a griefer, troll or micspammer, others might call an hilarious guy.
What if somebody joins a server and it empties the map after that? Was it because of him? Was it because of a horrible map? Or maybe just because it was too late at night.
And that is even ignoring the incredible strong temptation to gamble the system. Many people have several (!) idling accounts just to get as many items as possible in TF2. Now imagine what those would do for free games, or even money.

uhuh thats part of my fear with the loud girl gamers cruel. I'd rather not see more of them posting posey pictures and giggling over voice comms in an attempt to get more steam friends and free games. Probably not even to play them just so they can giggle at more boys and post more slutty pictures
