I don't have a problem. I do stop playing when my eyes hurt Presideds I've got to get a human up to level 30, so the next time I'm round I can show your son my charater on a horse, rather than trying to chase down players on their epic mounts on foot! Not easy to do as a gnome mage. She's 60 now. YAY! My first ever charater to get to 60. And before the coments of playing female characters start to roll in, and my karma hits neagative figures, consider this. If your going to play a game for many hours on end, who's arse would you rather be staring at? Yes I'm a pervert - DON'T YOU DARE LOOK SUPPRISED!!!

Anyway, the night elf girlies every so often bounce up and down on the spot. Yer! And as for the blood elfs, pout and rotate hips, pout and rotate hips back again. As for death knight - add blue glowing eyes and a wierd voice modulation.

Oh I forgot to mention Hex, but my little Gnome mage has more cloths on now. Riding around the snowy tundra on a metal mechanical Emu chaffes a bit!

Was heavy into WoW endgame raiding (class leader in the top guild on the sever yada yada), gave it up over two years ago when i got a job.

I play the new Warhammer Online game now, but really relaxed style. Levelling through PvP and i've only put a couple of days playtime in since it came out two months ago.

Cant talk about WOW without thinking about the soutpark 'make love not warcraft' episode which is well worth a watch if you havnt already seen it.

Ive never indulged in a mmo and kinda avoided trying during my degree, i gotta admit, im interested in seeing what its all about, i love RPG's and got biblically addicted to Oblivion back in the day. Not sure if i'd pick WAR over it now tho, i dont think there is room for two time sinks in my life.

Never been that into MMO's and the only RPG's I really play are the Final Fantasy games (odd exception like Oblivion). I'm like Material as well, I would totally become that dude is South Park that has no life......

I'm an RPG obessive. I did about 200 hours on Obllivion. That's every quest. I'm now into Fallout 3 (which is Oblivion in different trousers but is, I suspect, actually better). On the basis of this level of addiction I have deliberately avoided online RPG's. Too dangerous.

MMO's arn't really like normal RPG's. You arn't playing for the quests or a good story any more, Or even for great gameplay itself,  but for other people ... that's where they hook you.  The game itself is just window dressing on a chat channel, like a dartboard or a pool table in a pub. After you've been playing a while and built up a group of friends, maybe joined a guild, It's very easy to just spend an entire evening chatting with people and hardly even move your character.
